This statement describes the Carillon Federal Services privacy policy in relation to Personally Identifiable Information collected during the PIV-I enrollment process, including data collected from the Carillon Federal Services Provisioning System

"Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) is information that would allow someone to identify or contact you, including for example, your full name, personal address, personal telephone number or personal email address. In the context of this privacy statement, Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is already in the public domain such as the following: title, organization, business address, business email address and business telephone number.

We endeavor to provide customers with up to date information about our policies and practices that apply to the management of their Personally Identifiable Information.

We Keep Our Security Policies and Privacy Statement Up to Date:

Our privacy statement was last updated on April 6th, 2015. This statement represents our privacy practices for Personally Identifiably Information collected after April 6th, 2015. To keep up with evolving risks and security technologies, we will review and revise this privacy policy from time to time. We suggest that you review it periodically. In the event of a change, we will post a change notice on our Carillon Federal Services Provisioning System.

If we amend the policy, the new policy will apply to Personally Identifiable Information previously collected only insofar as the rights of the individual affected are not reduced.
We Obtain Your Permission to Hold Your Personally Identifiable Information:

We will not collect, use or disclose your Personally Identifiable Information without first obtaining your consent to do so, with the following exceptions:

  • Carillon Federal Services may release personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, that such disclosure is necessary to protect us from legal liability, or that we should do so to protect the integrity of the site or the service. Therefore, we respond to subpoenas, warrants or other court orders concerning any user.
  • Carillon Federal Services may share personal information with its own subsidiaries, Affiliates, and Partner Companies. Carillon Federal Services covenants to ensure that such Affiliates and Partner Companies will also comply with this privacy statement;
  • Carillon Federal Services may employ other companies or individuals who may have access to Personally Identifiable Information needed to perform functions on our behalf, but who will not use this information for any other purpose and will comply with this privacy statement;
We Collect the Information We Need to Provide You With Our Services:

Personally Identifiable Information that we collect will be limited to what is necessary for the purpose of providing our PIV-I service unless you have otherwise given your consent, or when required by law.

Some pages in our Web site ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information when you order products or services from us. The type of Personally Identifiable Information that you will be asked to provide is dependant upon product or service that you request. When personal information is requested, you will be asked to complete a form and return it to us. Some information on the form will be marked as mandatory. You will always be given the choice not to share the information with us, but if you choose to withhold it, you may not be able to access certain products or services.

To help us to improve our customer service we sometimes collect information about your preferences from your visits to our Web pages. For example, we make it possible for users to "remember settings" in order to offer faster and more tailored Web page performance during future visits. Specifically, our Web site uses "session cookies" to authenticate a user. The cookie holds only information that is uniquely generated when the user logs on to the site. The information is held only as long as the user's browser is open. Upon exit from the site and closure of the Web browser, the information in the session cookie is removed from memory. For security purposes our Web servers collect and track incoming IP addresses. This information is used to match IP addresses against domain names.

We Safeguard the Personal Information in Our Care:

Carillon Federal Services is a recognized leader in the provision of Identity Management products and services and we provide security protection that is appropriate to the sensitivity of the information you provide us. Carillon Federal Services maintains designated staff whose responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures for the protection of all personal information consistent with this privacy statement. Our PIV-I security processes are regularly audited for compliance with HSPD-12, FIPS 201 and ICECAP standards.

We Are Committed to Information Accuracy:

When you submit your personal information you will be required to verify the accuracy of all information provided to us at the time of submission. We will provide a process for you to change the personal information in our care when it falls out of date. At your request and to the extent reasonably possible, we will inform you if we hold your personal information and how it is used. We will correct any personal information if it is proven to be inaccurate. At such time as Carillon Federal Services determines that it no longer requires your Personally Identifiable Information in connection with the PIV-I service, your Personally Identifiable Information will be permanently deleted.
